Jeff Mueller, President, was born in Davenport, Iowa in 1962. He attended the Georgia Institute of Technology where he studied Architecture and Civil Engineering, culminating in a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He has worked as a Civil Engineer for 20 years in both the public and private sector. He presently serves as the City Engineer for the City of Norcross, Georgia. He has been married for 26 years to Jessica Mueller and has two college aged children, Leslie and Henry, who thoroughly enjoyed The Swamp during their teen years.

Pam Hannah, Vice President, was born in Glens Falls, New York and primarily grew up in Melbourne, FL, where she met her husband, Jim, in Jr. High School. They have been married for 46 years. They have two adult sons together, Douglas and Charles who both attended many years at Camp Swamp (beginning with Camp Woodmont in the early years). In addition, Pam also has two sons, Robert and Darrell. All of their sons reside in Georgia. Jim and Pam moved to Atlanta in the Spring of 1983. They are members of the Cornerstone Church of Christ.

Pam is retired from Gwinnett County Public Schools where she worked for 25 years. Pam started her career as a Substitute Teacher and eventually worked in teaching and technical positions wherein she taught teaching staff how to best use technology for the benefit of teaching the student population. She also repaired all technology components (hardware and software) and was responsible for network administration. Prior to that time, Pam worked at Harris Corporation in Melbourne, FL where she was an integral part of many Space Industry Contracts for the government, working as a Program Manager over the budgetary aspects of government contracts.

Dan Ankrom, Secretary. Dan Ankrom was born and raised near Rochester, New York.  He attended Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and later earned a Master’s degree in Physics Education at SUNY College at Buffalo.  Dan has worked in both education and engineering, and has lived in the Atlanta area since 2005.  He lives in Alpharetta with his wife Alaina, and their two children, Pierce and Waverly (who both LOVE attending camp at the Swamp!).  Dan works for Trenton Systems in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Megan Famodun, Treasurer, was born and raised in Marietta, GA. She attended college in Boston, MA for two years but then transferred and finished her degree in Sociology and Leadership at Kennesaw State University.  After graduating, Megan began serving in the Youth and Family ministry and soon after that, she married her husband Adeoye, they have been married now for four and a half years. Together, they served in the Youth and Family ministry at North River for a little over four years. During that time, they spent several weeks out at Camp Swamp, which was such a great opportunity for them since they did not get to experience it when they were growing up. Now, Megan is the HR & Finance Manager at North River. She is enjoying her new role and excited to be able to build new skills and use her talents to help with the administration of the church.

SCS Board Bloom Family

Rachel grew up in Athens, Georgia and earned her undergraduate (ABJ in telecommunications) and law degrees at the University of Georgia. She moved to Atlanta with husband Derrick in 1995 to start their careers and a family. After a short stint in litigation, Rachel began working in-house with a Real Estate Investment Trust. She left the workforce in the early 2000s to raise their young children, and went back to commercial real estate in the 2010s in partnership with Derrick. She handles acquisitions, dispositions, and investment management for residential and commercial properties throughout the southeast. Rachel and Derrick have lived in Marietta, Georgia since 1995. They served in the campus ministry at UGA, and are actively involved in the children’s ministry and Building Advisory Committee at North River church of Christ. Rachel has been married to Derrick for 24 years and they have three children – Kayla (18), Hunter (16) and Mya (12). Family Camp is their favorite and the Blooms been going since its inception in 2006.

Glenna E.L. Boston is a 2014 graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law and licensed attorney for the state of North Carolina. Prior to attending law school, Glenna served as a child protective service social worker and therapeutic mental health social worker. Her social work practice inspired her to attend law school. During law school she founded a project recognized by the North Carolina State Bar. Glenna’s primary practice involves Abuse and Neglect of children and representation of Mental Health professionals in protecting their records. She serves as part-time faculty at North Carolina State University teaching social welfare policy history classes.

Glenna holds a Bachelor of Social Work and is a North Carolina Child Welfare Collaborative Scholar from North Carolina State University. She has served as a board of director for the National Association of Social Workers of North Carolina, Durham Public Schools Site-Base Committee, Durham Public Truancy Judge, and held office for the Board of Directors for a North Carolina charter school. Glenna’s proudest accomplishments are her children, Ameliya and Mekhi, and husband, Deric, of almost twenty-four years. Her daughter Ameliya has participated in Swamp Corps annually since 2015 serving in four different countries.

Glenna has devoted her entire professional career to speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves and advocating for all to speak up and be judged fairly.

Mark & Jenny Crandall

Mark grew up in a small town in northern Indiana and attended Purdue University where he earned a BS degree in electrical engineering in 1989. He began his career at Motorola and has worked the last 14 years for Qorvo in Greensboro, NC as a design engineer specializing in radio frequency module integration for cell phones. He and his wife Jenn have been married 27 years and are members of the Piedmont Triad Church in Greensboro, NC. Their boys loved going to Swamp each summer when they were younger and Mark and Jenn have also enjoyed volunteering in the kitchen for a week during the summer for the past seven years. They love helping Camp Swamp do what it does.

Isaac was born in South Korea, but grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated Georgia State University with a degree in Criminal Justice. Isaac started his career as a Police Officer for the City of Decatur in Georgia. In 2001, he began his career with State Farm and has been there for 18 years. His current position is a Learning Delivery Facilitator. Isaac has been married to Jamie for 18 years and they have 3 sons: Sam (14), Nathan (9), and Eli (8). Isaac and his family are part of the Cornerstone Church of Christ in Duluth, Georgia. He is excited about serving this ministry and building memories for our youth for years to come.

Dan Lile became a Christian in 1980. He has served as a Youth Director and as a youth volunteer for over 25 years. Dan is married with three boys, all who have been eternally impacted by the Swamp. His favorite week of the year is when he and his wife gets to work in the kitchen! Dan is an Elder in the Charleston Church of Christ and works as a Regional Software Sales Manager.

Payne Family

Crystal, a native of Georgia, attended Emory University and The University of Georgia School of Law. She practiced administrative law for several years before joining the HOPE for Children, Inc. staff in 1996. She then began a life-long love of service to children around the world. She began aiding development of HOPE's international adoption arm becoming Program Director, International Programs Director, and finally serving as Interim Executive Director before her retirement to private practice and motherhood. Crystal has also served the State of Georgia in the child support recovery program under the Special State Attorney General's office. In addition, she has maintained her own private practice specializing in private international and domestic adoption. She is wife of Kevin Payne and together they have 3 children, Chandler, Carter and Ashley, all three who love and treasure their experiences at camp.

Justin (far right in picture) and his wife, Betty, currently live in the northeast Atlanta metro area. Justin grew up in north Florida where he and Betty met. They got married and began a family in Orlando, FL, and then moved to the Atlanta metro area in 1996 and became members of the Atlanta Church of Christ. They have two sons, Cameron and Kyle. Cameron is married to Madison, and Kyle is getting married to Abigail in July. Currently, Justin and Betty are members of the Athens Church of Christ in Watkinsville, GA.

Justin earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees (Healthcare Administration, Masters in Healthcare Administration) from the University of West Florida. He has more than 18 years in the healthcare industry and is an Associate Director for Guidehouse (formerly Navigant). Betty is a first grade teacher in Gwinnett County Public Schools. Justin and his family enjoy many outdoor activities.

Justin and Betty have volunteered at Camp Swamp since its inception in 1998 with both Cameron and Kyle spending many of their summers at camp. Justin is a board member for the Athens Church of Christ and also part of the Advisory board member for Camp Swamp under the Development Committee.

Taylor earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia. He spent three of his four college summers serving as a full-time counselor at the Swamp, quickly developing a passion for the camp. Taylor works for AT&T on their Corporate Strategy team, evaluating strategic projects that set the direction for AT&T’s Mobility & Entertainment business. Taylor is honored to serve with a group of men and women focused on increasing the Swamp’s impact around the world. His family includes his wife Marilisa, his two-year old daughter Naomi and a second daughter due in August.
