    Comments:

    • "We noticed character changes on return from the camp - a totally different attitude."

    • "My child was greatly impacted by last year's trip. It was a chance for her to be out of herself, and other's centered. Of course, also making that impact on others who are less fortunate. She came back home, a changed, more mature person. We were so thankful for the opportunity. In addition, we have heard of the great impact that was experienced by the Jamaican teens in the months that followed as well. I hope this is the start of more of the same!"

    • "My child learned to love the kids and accept their cultural differences. I would say he became a better human being in that he saw a very different culture and was able to bond with those in that culture!"

    • "The trip offered my child a new experience of how other people in this world live. She had read a lot about it but nothing is more real than being there and seeing with your own eyes. Being involved with the kids there helped her by them explaining the things that she saw. She was able to see how the societies live and how the classes of people differ from one place to another. What I have seen is that she has grown and become more thankful for the things that we have. The simple things she see may not be simple for other kids her age. I know that this experience will be one that will help to become the young lady that she will grow up to be."
